Malaysia Jet Victims' Bodies Arrive in Netherlands

KHARKIV, Ukraine - With a military police escort, 40 wooden coffins containing the remains of people who were on the downed Malaysia Airlines flight in Ukraine have been taken from an airport in the Netherlands to a military barracks, where the painstaking task of identifying the victims will begin.

Church bells rang out around the country as the planes carrying the coffins taxied to a standstill.

Officials say some families may have to wait weeks before there's a positive identification.

In all, nearly 300 people died when the plane was shot down on Thursday, and about two-thirds of the victims were from the Netherlands.
