Man Arrested After Beating Car in Middle of University Drive

COLLEGE STATION A College Station man is facing charges after an apparent road rage incident.

Richard Dennis McCormick, 68, was arrested for Criminal Mischief after allegedly beating the side of a car back in February.

According to the arrest report, McCormick was honked at by another driver. The other driver said McCormick wasn't paying attention while he drove. The other driver said McCormick stopped in the middle of University Drive, got out of his car and hit their car near the windshield.

The other driver said McCormick caused $112.82 in damage.

McCormick bonded out of jail earlier Thursday morning.
