Man Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Two Pedestrians

Two young men say they were attacked and punched in the face while walking home this morning.

Around 1am Saturday morning, A&M University police say one of their officers was flagged down at University and Tauber Road by the two victims where the alleged incident happened.

The two male victims told police that 23 year old Joseph Korczynski ran up behind them, began yelling and punching them in the face,
causing both men bloody and swollen lips. Both victims say they were knocked to the ground.

Police were able to track Korczynski down, arrest him and charge him with assault.
