Man Arrested for Allegedly Beating Disabled Adult

BRYAN - Police arrested a Bryan man two months after they say he assaulted another man in College Station.

18-year-old Keyon Searcy is charged with Injury to a Disabled Person after police say he beat an 18-year-old who had the functioning level of a first grader.

The police report says Searcy and the victim were engaging in horseplay when the victim asked Searcy to stop.

Searcy allegedly started punching the victim causing causing injuries that were worsened due to his condition.

Searcy is being held without bond.
