CONROE, Texas (AP) A 19-year-old Conroe man has been arrested and charged with capital murder for the slaying last week of a Montgomery County convenience store owner.
Sheriff's officials say Joseph Gutierrez was arrested Friday for the slaying of Sam Sadruddin.
Authorities also are detaining a 13-year-old boy as a person of interest in the case. No charges have been filed against the boy. His name isn't being released.
Gutierrez is held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
Sadruddin was fatally shot at his store last Monday evening.
