BRYAN Officers on a traffic stop catch a Bryan man with marijuana at Stephen F. Austin Middle School early Wednesday morning.
18-year-old Justin Eric Hernandez was stopped by officers around 2:30 a.m. According to the report, the officers were on a traffic stop on 33rd Street near Ennis when they noticed Hernandez walking near the school.
When they told him to stop, officers said he appeared to be dropping something and started to walk away.
Officers eventually got Hernandez to stop. They say that they could smell marijuana on him and found cut cigarettes in his pockets. According to the arrest report, officers searched the area on school grounds where Hernandez was and found a small baggie of marijuana.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone. He's being held on a $4,000 bond.
