COLLEGE STATION Police say he was asleep behind the wheel of a running truck. Now, he's facing charges.
19-year-old Bryce Jeffrey Dingler, of College Station, was found by Texas A&M officers sitting in the front seat of his truck early Thursday morning on Northgate. Officers say that Dingler was slumped over in the driver's seat using his phone when they approached him.
According to the arrest report, when officers made contact, they smelled alcohol and Dingler was slurring his speech. They arrested him for Public Intoxication. That's when they found two other driver's licenses in his back pocket. Officers also found a clear baggie with marijuana inside.
He's in jail under $8,200 bond.
