Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital just after 10pm Saturday.
Investigators say it happened at a Shell Station near Downtown Bryan at approximately 10:17pm.
According to police on scene, an officer was driving by the convenience store at the 200 block of N. Texas Avenue when he noticed a disturbance between two people.
Upon arrival the officer noticed one of the two appeared to have been stabbed in the chest.
Investigators say a weapon has been recovered.
The victim was described as a 27 year old white male.
He was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan where officers say he is being treated for minor injuries.
A suspect has been detained and is being questioned by detectives, but no arrest has been made at this time.
Charges are pending.
