College Station, Tx More charges are being added against a kidnapping suspect that led Police on a dangerous high speed chase through Bryan and College Station.
Witnesses say the chase wound through a number of area streets, including Texas Avenue in College Station, and Boonville Road in Bryan.
28-year old Ryan Zachary Drake is now charged with 3 counts of felony evading, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and kidnapping.
Police say a man had reported he'd been kidnapped by Drake, who had claimed he needed a ride to a hospital.
Investigators say Drake placed something against the victim's neck, telling him to drive toward Navasota.
They say he then forced the victim out of his vehicle and drove away.
The vehicle was spotted in the Bryan-College area and police began pursuing it last night.
The chase finally ended when police say Drake drove into a wooded area off Linda Lane, south of Harvey Road.
Neighbors say he got out and ran.
The man who was originally kidnapped was released unharmed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
