A 20 year old man is in jail after police say he got upset with a Walmart cashier and pulled out a gun on the employee.
Investigators arrested James Dale Carroll around 1:30 Friday morning.
Police say Carroll pointed a gun at the cashier at the Walmart in Bryan. The cashier told police Carroll was buying a toy and asked him if he had kids. Once the cashier said he didn't, Carroll became upset and pulled out a gun.
Two people in a truck outside the Walmart told police they were asked to pick up Carroll because he was "acting crazy." When police arrived at the Walmart, they found Carroll outside with the gun.
Carroll is still in jail with a $20,000 bond and is charged with aggravated assault.
