Man Sentenced 10 Years for Domestic Violence

BRYAN Bobbie Lefelle Morris, 43 of Bryan was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday for domestic violence against his wife last February.

Authorities said Morris hit his wife in the face repeatedly.

According to the police report, an officer said he saw drag marks and welts along the woman's right arm.

Morris was given the maximum sentence; 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

According to the District Attorney's office, Morris was convited twice before for assaulting a family member.
