BRYAN - A man has pleaded guilty in a gang-related shooting at an apartment complex.

The Brazos County District Attorney's Office says Rashaad Smith was sentenced to five years in prison for felony charges and six months in jail for misdemeanor offenses in-part related to shots fired in March 2013 at a complex on Wellborn Road in Bryan.

Prosecutors say in a separate gang-related incident, Smith pulled a gun during a fight with a rival gang member.
