Man Stabbed to Death in Leon County

A Leon County man is dead after being stabbed at party early this morning in Jewett.

According to an investigator with the county sheriff's office, Tim Sheradon has been charged with murder after he reportedly stabbed his nephew, Lonnie Shoop in the chest.

Investigators say a fight broke out just after the midnight hour, and that drinking was involved.

Shoop was pronounced dead at the scene.
