COLLEGE STATION - A man has been arrested after leading police on a chase through Bryan/College Station.
Police say it started late Thursday night at the CVS Pharmacy located near Southwest Parkway and Texas Avenue in College Station.
An 18 year old man from Benchley reportedly left his Silver Dodge pick-up running and went inside the store to check on his girlfriend.
When he came out, he saw another man inside his truck.
Police say the owner tried to confront the suspect but he began to drive off. The owner was able to jump into the bed of the pick-up and called 911.
Police responded and a chase began northbound on Texas, while dispatchers kept the owner of the truck on the phone.
Police say he provided updates on their location.

On 29th Street the victim jumped out of the vehicle at Broadmoor when they slowed down for the turn for his own safety." says Sgt. Kathryn Reiter of the College Station Police Department.
The pursuit continued and police say they eventually made an arrest at the AutoZone at the 1600 block of S. Texas Ave. in Bryan.
