Man Threatens Family Member with Pocket Knife, Arrested

COLLEGE STATION - A man has been arrested after police say he threatened a family member with a knife.

Police say they were called to a home in the 600 of block of Banks in College Station street around 6 p.m. Wednesday night and found several family members arguing in the street.

A witness says 36 year old Daren Arand White pulled a pocket knife on another male family member and that's when a female relative stepped in to break up the fight.

The family member told police he was fearful for his life and police were called to the scene, that's when White fled in a vehicle.

After a search, White was located in the 700 block of Churchhill and arrested without incident.

He's facing Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon charges.

Nobody was hurt.
