TROY (January 15, 2013)--Sheriff's deputies discovered the bodies of a man and a woman Tuesday morning at a rural Bell County home.

Bell County Sheriff's office spokesman Deputy Donnie Adams said deputies were sent to an address on Willow Grove Road after a caller requested a check on the welfare of two people who lived in the house.

When deputies arrived they found the man and a woman inside, both dead.

A justice of the peace was called to the residence to pronounce the man and woman dead.

He ordered an autopsy.

Adams would not say if the deaths were suspicious and would not say if the man and woman were husband and wife.

Adams also would not say if a weapon was found or if deputies suspect foul play.

Adams said, a Chevrolet Trail Blazer, with Texas license W65FFW, was missing from the house.

Deputies later found a Trail Blazer at a home in Little River-Academy that authorities said was connected to another investigation, but there was no confirmation the SUV was the one missing from the home where the bodies were found.

Deputies were questioning two people about the vehicle, but authorities provided no other details.

A news conference was scheduled at 4 p.m.
