NEW YORK -- Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel met with the media from around the country Friday afternoon at the Marriott Marquis leading up to Saturday night's Heisman Trophy Ceremony. Manzeil was joined by fellow Heisman Trophy finalist Manti Te'o from Notre Dame. Kansas State quarterback Colin Klein did not meet with the media. He is in Baltimore being honored as the 2012 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner.
Manziel is looking to become the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy. He would be the second Aggie to win the award. Aggie John David Crow won the Heisman Trophy in 1957.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy Ceremony will begin at 7:00 Saturday night at the Best Buy Theater in Time Square. The event will be televised on ESPN.
