On Thursday October 10, 2013, as part of an on-going investigation into narcotics trafficking, the Special Investigations Unit of the College Station Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 200 blk of Fraternity Row.

During the subsequent search of the residence, investigators were able to recover approximately 3 ½ pounds of high-grade marijuana with a reported street value of $16,800.00. Also seized was a handgun and over $6,300.00 of US currency believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.

As part of the continuing investigation, investigators were able discover additional monies being transferred from the suspect and these are also believed to be the result of narcotics sales. Any property seized will be subject to asset forfeiture proceedings to determine a final disposition.
