BALTIMORE (AP) - Maryland Lottery officials say they'll share more information about the state's Mega Millions winner.
While officials say the winner of a share of the record $656 million jackpot will remain anonymous, they'll give some details about the winner's story Tuesday morning. Maryland doesn't require lottery winners to be identified.
A Maryland winner claimed the prize Monday at lottery headquarters with a ticket sold at a Baltimore County 7-Eleven that matched all six numbers: 2-4-23-38-46 and the Mega Ball, 23. The jackpot was the biggest in Mega Millions history and the three winners - one in Maryland, Illinois and Kansas - will each get more than $218 million before taxes. Kansas' winner also decided to remain anonymous.
