A business owner in Montgomery County shoots and holds an alleged burglar at gunpoint.

When deputies arrived on scene in Porter after midnight Thursday, they found the wounded suspect lying on the ground.

The storage facility owner says he shot the man in the lower stomach area after the suspect began moving toward him.

Officials say the business has been broken into on at least ten separate occasions.

The suspect who may face burglary charges was treated at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston where he was listed in stable condition.
