Montgomery County District III Patrol Commander Retires

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce the retirement of Lt. Darrel Conn, the District III Patrol Commander after 24 years of service to the residents of Montgomery County.

Lt. Conn began his service to Montgomery County’s residents as a reserve deputy in 1983 and in 1988 Sheriff Joe Corley hired him fulltime.

Lt. Conn has served this county as a patrol deputy, auto theft detective and patrol supervisor.

He has been awarded a Master’s Peace Officer Certification and has received numerous accommodations throughout his career.

There will be a retirement event on Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sheriff’s Office, #1 Criminal Justice Drive in Conroe.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Lt. Conn for his service to the county and would like to wish him a very happy retirement.
