Montgomery County Officials Search for Robbery Suspect

Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office are searching for a suspect who they say held up a jewelry store in the Woodlands.

It was around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon when a male entered the Tiffany's on Market Street and looked at several rings. He was being assisted by a store employee when he allegedly pulled an assault rifle out of a bag. The suspect then took several pieces of jewelry and sprayed the employees with a chemical irritant before fleeing the scene on foot.

Police continue to search for the suspect, no arrests have been made in the case.

The suspect is described as a black male, with dark skin. He has a thin built, is about 6' tall and weighs about 180 lbs. He was wearing dark jeans, a light purple shirt and a ball cap. He had a sweater or sweatshirt tied around his waist.
