Two people are in the hospital after investigators say a truck crashed into a motorcycle.
Around 1 p.m., DPS Troopers say a Toyota Tundra was going east on Highway 60 near Snook and tried to make a left turn into a gas station. Investigators say the truck failed to yield the right of way to a Harley Davidson going west on Highway 60.
The motorcycle crashed into the truck. The driver of the motorcycle was thrown over the handle bars and onto the hood and windshield of the Toyota. The driver of the motorcycle then rolled off the hood and landed in the roadway. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
The motorcyclist was taken by helicopter to Scott & White in Temple and is in the ICU. Troopers say a 15 year old passenger in the truck was taken by ambulance to the St. Joseph Hospital for minor injuries.
No charges have been filed.
