Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Bike In Bryan

On Sunday, August 12, 2012, at 1:52 am, Bryan Police responded to the 500 block of N. Coulter Ave., near the intersection of E. William J. Bryan, for a major accident. The accident involved a motorcycle, a 2009 Harley Davidson, traveling northbound on N. Coulter Ave. The motorcycle rider was unable to negotiate the curve and left the roadway to the right. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle and was found deceased on scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The Criminal Investigations Division, the Crime Scene Unit, and the Traffic Safety Unit responded to the scene to investigate. The roadway was closed for approximately 3 hours. The investigation is still ongoing.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kelsey Ransom, a 22 year old male from College Station. An autopsy has been ordered by Justice of the Peace Michael McCleary.
