All over the country, people are coming together to remember those lost in Newtown.

That includes in Bryan at the Neal Recreation Center. Dozens of people gathered Saturday morning to pray and pay their respects for those lost. People tried to lift each other up with song, fellowship and worship.

"If it can happen in Connecticut, it can happen here," said Quinton Samuels. "A lot of times, we think we have to start with the teachers and the schools, but it starts at home. Being the fact that it starts at home, we have to let this community know we have to come together, pull in, and know what to do to prevent things like this from happening in our town."

In addition to the music, Pastor Hershel Goodman from Morning Star Baptist Church led the group in prayer.
