NAVASOTA RATTLERS - State Champions!

ARLINGTON, TX -- The Navasota Rattlers won the school's first state football championship tonight with a 39-3 win over Gilmer in the Class 3A Division II title game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Friday night.

The preseason number one ranked team in Class 3A goes wire to wire and finishes 2012 with a state championship and perfect 16-0 record!

After giving up a field goal in the 1st quarter, the Rattlers scored 39 unanswered points with Austin Collins finding the end zone three times.
