NAVASOTA- If you and your kids like to fish, we've got just the ticket for your Saturday morning.
The City of Navasota is holding its annual Kidfish Saturday morning from 9-to-noon at Patout Pond Park just off Highway 6 North.
Everyone is encouraged to bring their fishing poles to fish for bass and catfish.
The first 200 participants get a free t-shirt, courtesy of the Navasota Noon Lions Club.
Not only that, but free pizza and snowcones will be served.
Kids can also learn about knot tying, casting, fish identification, safety, and habitat protection.
It's all free, Saturday, June 28, from 9-to-noon.
