BRYAN - The Bryan Police Department would like to welcome two new officers to the police force. Friday, Chief Eric Buske swore in two new officers that had just completed an 18 week Police Academy put on by the Texas Engineering Extension Service, TEEX. The recent cadets, now officers, graduated alongside 22 other officers from the Brazos Valley after passing their state licensing exam.

A graduation ceremony was held at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center in College Station.

The new officers are Liam Stewart and Gray Rentz. These fresh officers will continue their training and new careers at the Bryan Police Department as they pair up with senior officers in a Field Training Program and eventually head out on the streets on their own.
