New Caldwell Police Chief Begins Work on Monday, April 15

A new Caldwell police chief will begin work on Monday.

Former Burleson County Sheriff's Lieutenant Thomas Norsworthy is taking the top cop position.

The Caldwell City Council gave authorization to hire Norsworthy last week, replacing Danny McElroy who retired on January 22nd.

Norsworthy worked for the sheriff's department for nearly 15 years.

He'll be sworn in as Caldwell Police Chief at Tuesday night's council meeting.
