Not So Humble Bank Robber Leaves Humble Bank Empty Handed

The Humble Police Department and the FBI need the public’s help to identify the man who robbed a Humble bank but left empty handed earlier today.

At about 1:49 p.m., a man walked into the Chase Bank located On By-Pass Road West in Humble. He asked about opening an account then handed the teller a note demanding money. He left without getting any cash. No weapon was seen. No one was physically hurt.

The bank robber is described as a heavy-set Black male, approximately 200-300 pounds, 5’4” to 5’5” tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white and black tennis shoes.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber. If you have information about this case, please call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or the Humble Police Department at 281-319-9752.
