WASHINGTON - On this Fourth of July, President Barack Obama has taken part in a naturalization ceremony at the White House for 25 foreign-born members of the U.S. military, representing 15 countries.
He said they are reminders that America has always been a nation of immigrants.
Obama took the opportunity to renew his plea for immigration reform in Congress -- though he announced this week that he will make whatever changes he can make on his own.
