A 25-year-old Odessa woman has been charged with arson in connection with three fires authorities say she set back-to-back on one day.
Odessa police say Alison Marie Postelle was arrested Tuesday for setting three fires blocks apart on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a home about 6:30 a.m. and were told by the resident that her daughter had set the fire. Within a few minutes firefighters saw smoke coming from an RV about a block away. A column of smoke signaled a third fire where a sofa and grass burned.
Sgt. Gary Duesler with the Ector County Sheriff's Office said in an email that Postelle remained in the county detention center in lieu of $75,000 bail. She has requested a court-appointed attorney but one has not yet been selected.
