A man wanted for escape in Ohio has been arrested in College Station after a complaint of door-to-door solicitation.

Thursday night College Station police arrested 25-year-old Steven Terrell Wynder of Bedford Heights, Ohio.

Police say they responded after receiving a complaint regarding a door to door solicitor in the Foxfire Subdivision in College Station.

Police were able to locate Wynder based on a description given to them.

Wynder allegedly told police that he was working for T&B Sales and selling cleaning supplies.

It was later discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for escape in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

He was arrested and booked into the Brazos County jail.

Police say Wynder will be extradited back to Ohio.
