CALDWELL - We've all watched as people from across the country have participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge to help raised money and awareness for ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease.
For one Caldwell man suffering from ALS since 2011, the diagnosis has turned his life upside down.
Steve Sowders knows first hand the toll this disease is taking on him and on his family, but today he gave them another reason to be proud.
Sowders took the ice bucket challenge.
Sowders and his family hope that with every ice bucket challenge that's accepted, researchers are one step closer to finding a cure for ALS.
