CALDWELL - A jury has been seated for a man on trial in Burleson county for murder - with opening statements set for Thursday morning.

Roderick Grba of Caldwell is accused of shooting and killing 31-year-old Marcus Carroll after an argument in a Snook apartment complex in January of 2013.

Seven women and five men will deliberate on the jury. Prosecutor Julie Renkin says she expects the trial could last several days.

Grba is also charged with Aggravated Assault and Burglary - both felonies. He faces up to life in prison if convicted in the killing. Aggravated Assault and Burglary are each punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison.

Judge Carson Campbell is presiding over the case, with the trial scheduled to take place at the Burleson County Courthouse in Caldwell.
