Painting With a Twist of College Station plans to host a charity event to benefit the victims of the West Fertilizer Explosion by hosting a profit share.

Firefighters conduct search and rescue of an apartment destroyed by an explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas, April 18, 2013.

Painting With a Twist of College Station plans to host a charity event to benefit the victims of the West Fertilizer Explosion by hosting a profit share.

The fundraiser will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and the studio says it will donate half of the proceeds to the Brazos Valley Media Giving Back Fund, a team effort fund established by KBTX, The Eagle, and Bryan Broadcasting.

The three media organizations -- television, newspaper and radio -- first teamed up in 2011 to gather donations for those impacted by the wildfires. A recent campaign to raise money for Bryan firefighters killed and injured in a February fire collected $73,000 for the four families.

The Painting With a Twist store is located at 1643 South Texas Avenue in College Station.
