Pickup Truck Hits Panera Bread, Employee Pinned

CONROE - One person was hit by a pick-up truck when a woman accidentally drove into a Panera Bread restaurant.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of College Park Drive in Conroe.

Investigators say the 64-year-old woman possibly had a medical issue which caused her to hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

A male employee of Panera Bread was pinned in between the vehicle and the building. He appeared to have suffered two broken legs.

Bother the Panera employee and the driver were transported to the hospital.
