A Civil Air Patrol pilot from Houston has made an emergency landing on a Conroe street after the small plane developed engine trouble.
Civil Air Patrol officials say 22-year-old Sarah Rovner was not hurt Tuesday night as the single-engine plane clipped a power line and hit a sign. The aircraft suffered wing damage in the accident near downtown Conroe, about 40 miles north of Houston.
CAP Lt. Col. Bob Beeley says authorities are trying to determine what caused the Cessna 172 to lose power.
