A TORNADO WARNING has been issued for south Brazos and Grimes counties until 7:00pm. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING has been issued for Lee, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, and Walker counties until 6:45pm. A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Lee, Leon, Madison, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties. until 10pm. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 9pm Monday, for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 12am Tuesday, and for Lee county until 1am Tuesday. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect for Lee county until 12:15am Tuesday, Milam and Robertson counties until 7:30pm, Leon, Brazos, and Burleson counties until 8:15pm. An additional widespread 1" to 3" rain accumulations are possible through the evening, with locally higher amounts possible.
UPDATE: 1:30 p.m.
Lynn Lunsford with Federal Aviation Administration says the plane on the runway has damage to its left landing gear when it collapsed and that there's also damage to the other front wheel.
The plane is a Piper PA454, a single engine turbo prop.
Lunsford say, "It's too early to say what happened that caused the plane to have problems, but the FAA sending an investigator to Washington County to conduct a thorough inquiry."

On Wednesday morning, a plane whose landing gear failed had an emergency landing at Brenham Airport.
Two people were aboard the plane when it landed. Nobody was hurt.
FAA is on the scene and an investigation is underway.
"The plane was from Houston and they were training pilots and practicing maneuvers here at Brenham when they had an issue when trying to land," Brenham Fire Chief Ricky Boeker tells News 3.
