Police Believe Bryan Man Set Condo on Fire, Killed Himself

BRYAN Police investigators in Bryan now believe the man found dead in a condominium set fire to his residence before killing himself.

Michael Stanger's body was found Wednesday in his Twin City Condominium home on Verde.

Fire investigators believe four separate fires in the condo were intentionally set. Police think Stanger set them before committing suicide.

Firefighters found the 61-year-old's body when they were putting out the fire.

No other residences were damaged, and no one was injured.

No other information has been provided by investigators.
