BRYAN Big charges for a Bryan man who, police say, was selling drugs.
38-year-old Emanual Alexis Milton is facing several drug charges after police found drugs in his car. According to the arrest report, officers were patrolling the Buena Vista Apartments Tuesday morning when Milton was spotted in a parked car with a woman. The officer said that Milton and the woman came over to him when he stopped behind the car. When asked, Milton gave a fake name to the officer. The report says that when the officer said that the name he said didn't exist, Milton took off running.
The arrest report says the officer caught up with Milton twice, but he kept gettin away. Eventually, officers had to hold Milton at gunpoint to keep him from running off.
Officers searched his car and found four baggies of marijuana, five tabs of ecstasy and twenty pills of Xanax. Police believe the amount is more than casual use. They are charging Milton with manufacture and delivery charges, as well as possession of marijuana. They are also charging him with Evading arrest and False ID. He's in jail on on $72,000 bond.
