Bryan police say they are on the scene of an auto pedestrian accident at Highway 6 between the Boonville Road/William J Bryan Parkway and Martin Luther King Junior Street intersections.

Police say there have also been three other vehicle accidents in that area.

Investigators say the initial accident was between a juvenile and a vehicle. The juvenile is being transported to the hospital for injuries, but is conscious and talking at this time. Injuries have been reported to be serious but they are not believed to be life threatening.

Investigators say all northbound traffic is being diverted off the highway at Boonville Road and may re-enter the highway after MLK Street. Police are asking that you avoid the area.

News Three has a crew on the scene and we'll bring you updates as we get them.
