Police are asking for the public's help to find five suspects involved in a possible shooting.

College Station Police responded to reported gunshots fired near the 300 block of Poplar Street around 10:30 Saturday night.

Witnesses told police five males called three individuals out of their home on Poplar Street. Police say the residents came outside and told the 5 men they weren't going to meet them. When one of the residents was walking back inside the house, one of the males in the street started shooting.

Several shots struck the house, no injuries were reported.

Police say the suspects fled the scene on foot, then later in a Chevy SS pickup with dark windows. The truck was described as a "low rider" and was believed to be either black or dark blue with distinctive chrome rims.

Police are looking for the five suspects described at the scene: two black males wearing dark clothing, two Hispanic men (one man described with thin build holding a baseball cap). Police say the gunman was described as a large built Hispanic man that is roughly 6'2" and armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information is urged to call College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600.
