A 22-year-old College Station man is arrested after police say he was caught stealing potato chips, and a "Jesus is my best friend" t-shirt at a local Wal-Mart.
According to the police report, Payton Jack Pritchard was wearing a black FBI t-shirt and black shorts as he walked into the College Station Wal-Mart Tuesday afternoon. Loss Prevention officers inside the store noticed the 22-year-old placing a bag of Lays Kettle Cooked potato Chips, a "Jesus is my BFF" T-shirt, Hotdog Buns, and a pair of $33.00 headphones into a plastic Wal-Mart bag.
He was stopped by a loss prevention officer as he attempted to walk out of the store with the stolen items.
The police report says he was immedately arrested after admitting to the theft. The total amount stolen was: $50.71.
Pritchard was released from jail nearly two hours after being booked on $2,000 bond.
