Police: Man Forcefully Steals Woman's Purse

At around 9:00 PM Tuesday, College Station Police responded to the 2400 block of Texas Ave for a reported Theft that had just occurred.

Police say that 25 year old Linard Muckelroy Jr. from Hearne stole the woman's purse.

Upon arrival, Officers discovered that Muckelroy had been detained nearby by several witnesses.

During their investigation, Officers learned that the suspect had forcefully stolen the purse from the victim, causing the victim to sustain a non-incapacitating injury.

Muckelroy was arrested and charged with Robbery.
