At around 9:30 Tuesday night, officers with the College Station Police Department responded to the 1600 block of George Bush Drive in response to a major accident.
Upon Officer’s arrival, it was determined a vehicle had struck a male pedestrian in the leg.
Further investigation into the case showed that there was a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Dominik Drive between a male and female.
The male left the residence on foot and started to walk down George Bush Drive. The female followed in a vehicle and pulled alongside of the male insisting that he get into the vehicle.
When the male refused to do so, the female pulled into a private driveway, striking the male in his right leg. After the female struck the male, she fled the scene. During the investigation, Officers learned that the female had intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly used the vehicle to cause bodily injury to the male.
The male was transported to the College Station Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries.
This case has been turned over to the College Station Police Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation.
