Possession of Meth Suspect on Loose in Montgomery County

On Wednesday, March 13, at approximately 5:30 p.m. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Patrol Division attempted to stop a Nissan Z-370 passenger car for traffic violations on Interstate 45 near Rayford Road.

The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect abandoned the vehicle in the 27100 block of I-45 in a restaurant parking lot and fled on foot and has not been captured.

The vehicle was seized and approximately 160 grams of methamphetamine was recovered from the vehicle an estimated $16,000 street value.
