Bird Blamed For Power Outage In Bryan

BRYAN - A bird is blamed for a minor power outage this evening in Bryan.

A BTU spokesperson tells News 3 that a feathered friend got into a riser at the Atkins substation, knocking out power to an estimated 4,000 customers.

Power was out for about 30 minutes.
