Congressman Bill Flores was in Bryan early Tuesday evening for a town hall meeting.
He addressed a crowd at Blinn College. Flores spoke candidly about the federal budget, job creation and the current education bills in the house.
"You know education funding becomes subject to cuts, or it doesn't go as fast," Flores said. "So I think what we need to do is look at what's working and what's not."
This was his second stop in his series of local town hall meetings. He continues his round Wednesday in Austin.
