BRYAN - People spent the afternoon cracking crawfish for a great cause Sunday in Bryan.

Shipwreck Grill, The Crawfish Hole and The Bryan Police Officers Association teamed up again this year to host a Crawfish Cook-Off benefiting the 100 Club. So far, event organizers say they raised at least $5,000.

"We think the teams had a great time, we think the community had a great time and all for a great cause; that's what it's all about, so we're calling it a great success," said event organizer Mary Beckman.

The 100 Club helps the families of first responders killed in the line of duty and helped several families in the Brazos Valley last year.
